Some software may conflict with VirusScan’s buffer overflow protection. In that case, add an exclusion

by process name (module and API may also be specified).

If specifying an exclusion does not work, you may need to disable buffer overflow protection. First,

uncheck show the messages dialog box when a buffer overflow is detected. Then uncheck enable

buffer overflow protection.

Unwanted Programs Policy

Open VirusScan Console. Right click on Unwanted Programs Policy and click Properties. On the

Detection tab, all categories should be checked in the UH pre-configured settings. Clear any unwanted

program categories that you don’t want to detect. Click OK.
