Meeting Minutes
By: Aaron Albertson
The August meeting began with officer's
reports. Chuck Abrath, PCIG editor, mentioned
that the meeting time had been wrong in the
newsletter and apologized. Tim Massaro,
program chair, previewed next months meeting
on DVD Editing with Adobe Premiere software.
Tim also reminded us that the club is currently
offering free membership, IBMers and their
spouses and dependents can sign up by
contacting a club officer, and anyone can sign up
for our topica mailing list at www.pcig.info.

members thought that could be done, and
recommended looking on the internet for

system restore to go back to a point prior to the
install of Internet Explorer 6.0. Another option
was to uninstall Internet Explorer.
Another user was having problems on a
Windows XP Pro machine. He had installed SP1
and was seeing severe performance
degradation. SP2 didn't help. The machine has
a 1 GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM. One
suggestion was to re-image the machine.
Charles Abrath offered an addendum to his
unclaimed merchandise tip from the BGG a
couple of months ago. The merchandise that
was found for Chuck had been destroyed by the
bank after a 3 year waiting period, so he's not
