McAfee SaaS Email Protection Training Guide – Group Administrator Role
Proprietary and Confidential Page 6-24
1. Determining whether the user accounts associated in this policy will have access to their
Email Continuity Inbox. This selection overrides the checkbox selection made on the Email
Protection Setup Disaster Recovery page.
2. After your mail server becomes available, the unspooling of your Email Continuity mailbox to
your mail server begins. Depending on how long your mail server was unavailable, the
amount of time it will take to deliver all of your spooled messages will vary. The ‘Allow Users
to Continue using Email Continuity for up to’ drop list determines for how many hours your
user have access to their Email Continuity Inbox after Unspooling starts.
Note: Messages are only in one location; either in the Email Continuity Inbox, or your mail server.
Once a message is unspooled from Email Continuity and delivered to your mail server, it is no longer
accessible from the users Email Continuity inbox.
6.13. Group Subscriptions
For any policy other than the Default Policy, you must subscribe a group to a policy in order for the
policy to become active. You can subscribe any Group you administer to your Group Level policy or
a Customer level policy.
Each Group can only be subscribed to one Inbound Policy and one Outbound Policy. There can be
multiple groups assigned to one Policy.
Reminder: All ungrouped user accounts and all grouped users not associated to a specific policy
follow the Default Policy Set.
